Criss
Cross
Players are dealt four cards face down into their hand. The dealer
places five community cards face down in the center of the table
in a cross shape.
Players have a chance to exchange one of their cards for a new card.
Then the dealer turns two cards face up in the cross shape. The
two cards must be diagonal to each other and not be the center card
as shown below.
Players
have a second chance to exchange one of their cards for a new card.
Then the dealer turns two more cards face up in the cross shape.
The center card in the cross is not turned up yet as shown below.
Players
have a third and final chance to exchange one of their cards for
a new card.
Then the dealer turns up the last and center card in the cross shape.
Players may use any three cards in a row in the cross in their hand.
The chosen row can be used for both word and poker hand, but the
player may not use two different rows for word and poker hand.
