Deal Variant - Criss Cross |

1. Players are dealt four cards face down into their hand. The dealer places five community cards face down in the center of the table in a cross shape.
2. Players have a chance to exchange one of their cards for a new card.
3.The dealer turns two cards face up in the cross shape. The two cards must be diagonal to each other and not be the center card as shown below. 4. Players have a second chance to exchange one of their cards for a new card.
5. The dealer turns two more cards face up in the cross shape. The center card in the cross is not turned up yet as shown below. 6. Players have a third and final chance to exchange one of their cards for a new card.
7. The dealer turns up the last and center card in the cross shape.
8. Players may use any three cards in a row from the cross in their hand. The chosen row may be used for both word and poker hand - two different rows CANNOT be used for word and poker hand. STAY/FOLD and the rest of the hand proceeds as usual.
